On February 14th, over 480 College, Praxis, and Joyland members participated in redefining the mainstream view of Valentine's Day. Through singing, making crafts, and eating homemade goodies, we shared God's love and compassion with 17 different shelters and convalescent homes.

Feb 16, 2007Element Youth Winter Retreat - Feb 2007
During the 2007 Element Winter Retreat, the Youth had the opportunity to spend time away at the Diamond Arrow Conference Center. For four days, we heard powerful messages by Steve Kim and had fellowship through heart to heart sharings, fun games, late night snacks, and hilarious skits. And of course, we can't forget the intense snowball fight between the students and teachers! We thank God for how He has been working in Element!

On January 28th, we witnessed fourteen brothers and sisters sharing their personal salvation testimonies and making a public declaration to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We give all the praise and glory to God!

Feb 4, 20072007 Group Snow Trips
Praxis, ISM and College groups hit the slopes with inner tubes, snowboards, skis and stockpiles of snowballs! We enjoyed the invigorating and clear air of Yosemite and other sites, taking in the breathtaking view and wonder of God's creation, and enjoying the making of many memorable moments together!

Jan 18, 20072007 College Winter Retreat
Before the start of the 2007 school semester, the College department went away to Alliance Redwoods for our annual winter retreat, "For Christ and His Kingdom". We heard stirring testimonies from a missionary couple serving in Central Asia and challenging messages from our very own Pastor Ed. Thirty five people made decisions to begin a relationship with God, and countless others renewed commitments to place Christ as Lord of our lives. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and great love!

Jan 5, 20072007 Young Adult Retreat
Three days of clear skies, fresh air, and beautiful redwood forest set the stage for 2007's Young Adult retreat, held at Mt. Hermon Conference Center in the Santa Cruz mountains. Post-graduate members of Gracepoint Fellowship (Berkeley), Waypoint Community (Davis), and Bridgeway (Silicon Valley) churches started off the new year with messages from Pastor Ed that explored God's promise to Abraham as well as Jesus' parables, leading to fresh realizations and renewing of old commitments at this start of a new year.
