One hundred ten students from our Joyland and Impact ministries, ranging from Kindergarten to 6th grade, participated in our biannual Bible Olympics! From being quizzed on everything from memory verses, to questions from the Gospel of Mark, to stanzas from popular hymns, the friendly competition resulted in students being motivated to learn about the Bible in a fun and dynamic way, and culminated in the Grand Prize for many top scorers: a trip to Discovery Kingdom!

" Engaging the Heart" was the theme of our weekend with Joe Horness, a nationally recognized worship leader. He has over 25 years of ministry experience- a bulk of which were spent at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago where he served as the Director of Worship. We had a wonderful time spending the weekend with him where he led various training sessions, taught us ways to enhance worship, and shared with us meaningful messages. He currently serves as the Director of Worship Arts at Bay Pointe Community Church in Traverse City, MI.

Starting from the early morning to late in the evening on Friday, Praxis members made their way up to Yosemite -home to a multitude of waterfalls, granite cliffs and the famous Half-Dome. After spending Friday night in tents and cabins, we fanned out in small groups all over Yosemite to bike along the trails, and hike up various mountains such as Vernal Falls, Nevada Falls, Dewey Point, and Stanford Point. The breathtaking views, sunny weather, and fun times of indoor/outdoor fellowship made this trip a weekend to remember!

As part of Gracepoint's Easter Sunday, we celebrated the baptism of 25 brothers and sisters. The same resurrection power of God that brought about Easter Sunday was very real in these brothers' and sisters' lives, as we heard their testimonies of the love of God and His people. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness!

The Annual Boys Outing and Girls Outing took place on two different Saturdays in March where more than 30 boys and 60 girls from Joyland and Impact bonded with each other at Tilman Park in Alameda. Each outing kicked off with a BBQ and then packed the rest of the afternoon with much laughter as the kids tossed water balloons, shot homemade rockets into the air, played jump rope, wrapped each other up as mummies, competed in a mini-Olympics and so much more!

Three hundred fifteen college student performers, 3 action-packed performances, 2 months of intense preparation, and the support of an entire church. On March 17th and 18th, over 2400 people packed the auditorium for Gracepoint Live's production of 'Lost and Found.' The combined forces of acts2fellowship, Kairos and Koinonia performed a spectacular mix of profound messages, captivating visual effects and side-splitting humor to share the message of Christianity in a way that was relevant to real life. Everything from the costumes to the actors, from the set design to the dance choreography, and from the video presentations to the script was put together by amateurs with no professional theatre experience - but a lot of heart for the spreading of the gospel.
