This year's A2F/Koinonia-sponsored New Student Welcome Night began with the serving of over 1000 pounds of marinated meat to 1600 students new to Cal! After a scrumptious FREE(!) meal, they packed Wheeler Auditorium to enjoy the rockin' praise, hilarious true-to-life skit, captivating slideshow, thought-provoking message, and our own small group video commercial. We pray that the Gospel message would continue to be communicated to many students as they journey through these once-in-a-lifetime years at Cal!

Aug 17, 2007Element Youth Summer Retreat 2007
Element Youth had their annual summer retreat where our speaker Ben Koo talked about the theme "Love Redefined". We had memorable times of sharing in small groups, hilarious skits, indoor/outdoor sports, ziplining, late night snacks, and an unforgettable campfire. It was a wonderful and rejuvenating time for the students as they start their academic year this fall.

Jul 3, 2007Cambodia Summer Mission Trip 2007
More than 100 Gracepoint Fellowship Church members went to Cambodia over a period of 8 weeks this summer, separated into 4 teams. We taught classes at Life University , went on village outreach visits, put on multiple Gospel presentation programs, and conducted medical missions. We also had the opportunity to build relationships with many precious Cambodian brothers and sisters. We are filled with gratitude for such a full summer where we were able to catch a glimpse of the heart of God for this nation. We look forward to how God will continue to use our church to further His Kingdom in Cambodia!

May 25, 2007Taiwan Summer Mission Trip 2007
More than 50 of our brothers and sisters went on a mission trip to
Taiwan this summer. We visited National Chiao-Tung University and
Tsinghua University; making friends, participating in cultural exchange (like
drinking all the boba and fruit drinks we could find), playing many sports, leading English classes and clubs, and much, much more. All of this culminated in two nights of GospelFest, where more than 330 of our friends attended. We praise God for what He has done, and are so excited as we look forward to Gracepoint Hsinchu in the Fall!

For Gracepoint's 2nd Annual GFC Summer Institute, we had the honor and pleasure of welcoming renowned Christian philosopher, apologist and professor, Dr. J.P. Moreland. Dr. Moreland spoke on topics such as Truth, Knowledge, and Naturalism, as well as sharing with us his own encouraging journey of faith. We thank God for a wonderful time of training and fellowship with his servant for the Kingdom!

May 28, 2007Memorial Day Picnic
Gracepoint's annual Memorial Day picnic in beautiful Marin County began with a feast of grilled meats and picnic foods, after which we enjoyed working off our scrumptious lunch with team games, relays, a water balloon toss, and rousing games of volleyball and football. Berkeley Praxis, College campus groups, International Student Ministries, CSUEB, SF Campus and Joyland Departments all joined in together for this memorable day of fun and fellowship.
