The coming new year holds many exciting aspects of how God will use us as His instruments in experiencing Him and in spreading the gospel. But looking back at yet another year, are there regrets, failures, insecurities that lead us to think that God may not want to include me in His plans? Looking at the life of Gideon (Judges 6), take heart that God's ways are different from our ways, and He is neither hindered nor influenced by our abilities (or lack thereof), but rather calls us to place total faith and reliance on God doing the work through us. We are simply called to trust and obey.
