The parable of the Unmerciful Servant in Matthew 18:21-35 describes a man who, having just been forgiven an insurmountable debt, pounces mercilessly on another man who owed him a trifle in comparison. What is behind the heart of one forgiven much who cannot forgive another even a little? Christians are those who have had, "as far as the east is from the west," our sins removed from us by the forgiveness of God. How do we respond?
